Global tourism leaders at the 2024 WTM Ministers’ Summit at WTM London agreed that artificial intelligence (AI) has the potential to revolutionize the tourism sector, enhancing traveler experiences and business processes.

The Summit, held on the second day of World Travel Market London, was run in association with the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UN Tourism) and the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC).
Moderated by BBC News Chief Presenter Geeta Guru Murthy, the Summit focused on AI’s transformative power and the ethical considerations governments face when regulating it.

Catalonia has inaugurated its stand at the World Travel Market in London, one of the largest tourism fairs in the world, to increase its capacity to attract more high-value British tourists.

This space hosts more than 30 businesses, 23 of which are private, focused on “increasing the number of tourists from the United Kingdom”.
