This year has been nothing short of extraordinary for the World Travel Awards (WTA), the globally renowned celebration of excellence in the travel and tourism industry. As we near the Grand Final in Madeira on November 24, 2024, the world is eager to witness the crowning of the industry’s best in an evening sure to be nothing short of spectacular.

Lufthansa proudly marks a significant milestone in its history: the 65th anniversary of its inaugural flight from Hamburg to Bangkok. Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, will be participating in the 7th edition of the Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) 2024, set to take place from 13 to 15 November at the Sakhir Airbase in Manama.

The airline will display its retrofitted four-class Airbus A380, featuring its new livery and latest cabin interiors. This will give visitors a glimpse of Emirates’ latest onboard experience, which includes spacious cabins, its iconic Onboard Lounge, Shower Spa, refreshed cabins including Premium Economy and a host of other signature products.

The Saudi Tourism Authority has concluded three successful days at the World Travel Market London (WTM) 2024, following a year of unprecedented growth. During WTM Saudi further cemented its position as the fastest-growing tourism destination in the G20 after jumping 15 places in the UN Tourism destination ranking for international receipts – the largest upward movement in the Top 50.

Led by His Excellency Ahmed Al-Khateeb, Minister of Tourism, and joined by Fahd Hamidaddin, CEO of the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA), the Saudi Pavilion hosted 61 partners across Saudi’s tourism ecosystem, spanning its diverse regions and offerings, including destination managers, tour operators, hotels, entertainment companies, airlines, and cruise companies.
