Sometimes, all you have to do is pick up your camera, frame the beauty before you, press the shutter, and the resulting photo could go straight to print. More often, though, it’s a different story. The main subject might be lost in shadow or lit from the wrong angle. The background might be too bright, too dark, or too contrasty. That’s exactly when you’ll be glad you shot in RAW.
