3 Legged Thing Announces Axis Camera Gear Straps
Amazingly sturdy neck straps, sling straps, a wrist strap and more have been announced as the core of 3 Legged Thing’s new Axis Strap System. Shutterbug has been field testing several preproduction samples and we like them—a lot!
We’re not ready to publish a full-on review yet (give us a few weeks) but our experience with 3LT’s new Axis Strap System has been exceedingly positive. Built around their innovative (and thoroughly original) 4 Axis QD Buckle, as well as their own version of the popular QD Swivel, these camera-carry accessories are available in a wide selection of sizes, widths, colorways and configurations.
The Axis Strap System Lineup
• Axis Pulse – the most sturdy wrist strap I’ve ever worn.
• Axis 24 / 34 / 44 – camera straps in three widths to match any camera size, weight or shape.
• Axis Sling & Twin Sling – camera strap with a dual-camera option.
• Axis Anywhere & Gatekeeper – attaches to camera bag and supports two cameras.
• QD4 & QD7 Plates – Arca-Swiss compatible quick-release plates with integrated QD sockets, built for seamless connection.
Availability
The 3 Legged Thing Axis Strap System is available for your consideration on Kickstarter beginning today. Shutterbug nearly never covers items that are in crowdfunding, but we’ve been writing about 3LT for more than eight (8) years now and have 100% confidence in their ability to deliver rock-solid tripods, L-brackets, monopods, ball heads, camera bags—and now straps.
Here’s a link to our 2017 review of the Three Legged Thing Corey magnesium alloy travel tripod. Since then we’ve developed a keen appreciation for their clever innovation and superb craftsmanship.
