Canon RF 45mm f/1.2 Announced: Bright, Light, and a Low Price

Canon has announced a new prime lens with a normal focal length and a fast aperture: the RF 45mm f/1.2 STM. Surprisingly, this lens is not an ultra-high-end optic, but instead, a fairly light and inexpensive lens! At $469, this is easily the lowest price we’ve ever seen for a first-party f/1.2 lens.
