Ryanair and easyjet announce 47 new flight routs between them for summer 2027
Holidaymakers planning next year’s summer holiday will have more choice courtesy of two budget airlines. easyJet has confirmed 18 new routes from the UK, while Ryanair has released its first 29 new flight routes for summer 2027.
TIP: Tip: with fuel costs volatile and winter capacity being cut, early booking may be the safer bet for popular dates.
18 New routes for EasyJet
easyJet has put 18 new routes on sale from 10 UK airports, covering eight countries. It says it will be the only carrier offering direct flights on 10 of these connections. The UK’s largest low-cost airline has included destinations across Spain, including Girona for the first time, France, Italy, Germany, Greece, Cyprus, Montenegro and Bulgaria.
There will be a route from Liverpool starting on 28 March, operating twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays, and a route from London Gatwick starting 3 June, operating three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
Other airports across the UK will also gain new routes to European destinations; for example, easyJet will fly from Aberdeen to Barcelona for the first time. In total, the airline has launched six new routes from Scottish airports.
easyJet will also become the only airline to offer routes from Birmingham to Milan, Liverpool to Murcia, London Gatwick to Ajaccio and Bristol to Montpellier.

Ryanair is operating 29 new routes
Ryanair says it’s offering a “bumper” summer schedule for 2027. There will be more than 2,500 routes across 230 destinations in its network, and some are now available to book. Eastern Europe flights are in the schedule, including Birmingham to Wroclaw and East Midlands to Gdansk.
