Epson Launches SureColor P7370 and P9370 Photo Printers
Outdoor photographers looking to turn their landscapes into fine art prints have two new tools they can add to their arsenal. Epson has introduced the SureColor P7370 (24-inch) and P9370 (44-inch), wide-format photo printers aimed at photographers seeking gallery-level image quality, rich color accuracy, and print speeds that won’t slow down a busy studio.
Best of all for photographers looking to save a few bucks – and who isn’t these days? – the 10-ink SureColor P7370 ($3,495) and P9370 ($5,295) are around $1300 cheaper per model than Epson’s older, step-up 12-ink P7570 and P9570 photo printers. The difference is the more expensive printers include dedicated orange and green inks.
Epson’s Latest Printing Tech
Built around Epson’s latest printing technology, the new P7370 and P9370 printers use UltraChrome PRO10 inks with Violet, helping outdoor shooters to capture and reproduce the subtle blues of twilight skies, the deep purples of wildflower shadows, and the range of hues found in nature.
With Epson’s 10-channel PrecisionCore MicroTFP printhead and dedicated Photo and Matte Black channels, the SureColor P7370 and P9370 are designed to deliver exceptional tonal gradations and crisp detail across all media types.
The inclusion of Violet ink is significant for nature photographers looking to accurately reproduce the rich blues and purples often found in skies, water, and low-light scenes.
Both models come equipped with Epson Media Installer software for easier media calibration, whether printing on textured fine art paper, rugged poster board, or premium photo paper. The printers handle media up to 1.5mm thick, which is great for outdoor photographers producing prints for galleries, exhibitions, or direct sales.
Built for Longevity & Ease of Use
The SureColor P7370 and P9370 are designed with longevity in mind. The print engine is built for high-volume use, while the 4.3-inch LCD touchscreen and internal LED lighting make operation easy.
And with no need to switch between Matte and Photo Black inks, photographers can maintain efficiency and avoid unnecessary waste.
Outdoor photographers juggling multiple printers or managing remote print operations will appreciate the Epson Cloud Solution PORT, which provides real-time monitoring of printer performance. The Epson Print Layout software also integrates seamlessly with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, making it easy to go from post-processing to finished print with minimal fuss.
Pricing and Availability
The Epson SureColor P7370 will retail for $3,495 and the P9370 for $5,295. Both printers are scheduled to hit the market in summer 2025 via Epson’s network of professional imaging resellers. For more details, visit www.proimaging.epson.com.
