Formula 1® Portuguese Grand Prix Confirmed for Portimào, Algarve in 2027 and 2028
Turismo de Portugal and Turismo do Algarve welcome today’s official announcement from Formula 1®, confirming the return of the Formula 1® Portuguese Grand Prix to the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve (AIA) in 2027 and 2028. This highly anticipated decision reflects the joint efforts of a national task force that, over recent months, brought together the Government of Portugal, promoter Parkalgar, Turismo de Portugal and Turismo do Algarve.
