Today’s Photo of the Day is “Solitude” by Beth Baker. Location: Munising, Michigan.
“It’s not an epic or iconic shot, but it’s still my favorite from last year,” say Baker. “Driving along a stretch of rural road in the Hiawatha National Forest in Michigan’s upper peninsula, you can occasional spot a colorful maple tree growing amongst the taller pine trees. This little tree on a foggy morning had me hitting the brakes and pulling over to photograph the dreamy scene.”
