Today’s Photo Of The Day is “San Juan Fall Color” by David Shield. Location: San Juan National Forest, Colorado.

“During my first trip to Colorado to photograph fall colors, I made sure to make a stop at the popular Dallas Divide overlook area,” explains Shield. “A large parking area off the side of the main highway offers the opportunity to safely set up and start shooting. I picked my spot and started to photograph just before sunset while there was sufficient light to capture the scene’s fall color.”
