Sheraton Maldives Rescues Five Tons of Endangered Corals and Chronicles Their Journey for the World

Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa, in partnership with Reefscapers, a leading marine conservation organization, has successfully rescued five tons of endangered corals to a thriving new habitat at the resort. This ambitious effort, which began on February 19, 2025, carefully transported 800 coral colonies from Ras Malé—also known as the Maldives Eco City—to the resort’s dedicated coral restoration site.
