Listing your property or home for sale can become relatively straightforward, the question is, how do you get it in front of the ideal buyer? There are many resources available to Realtors when it comes to listing their homes. However, not all are always being used and it can impact potential exposure. Among the numerous resources available to showcase a home are: using professional photos, Zillow 3D tours, Matterport 3D tours, floor plans, aerials, and videography. 

Do you need them all? Perhaps not, but the more details about a property you  can provide the faster you will reach your ideal client. Let’s start with some stats: 

• 81% of buyers agree that they’re more likely to view a home if the listing includes a floor plan. (Zillow)

• More than a third of buyers are less likely to inquire about a property without a floor plan. (Rightmove)

• 68% of buyers agreed that 3D tours would help them get a better feel for the space than static photos. (Zillow)

• 58% of buyers feel somewhat confident making an offer on a home after seeing a 360 virtual tour.  (Zillow)

These statistics have been shown to be increasing over the years. So it is very likely that within the next couple of years, all technological resources available for real estate listings will be in higher demand. 

All in all, floor plans allow buyers to decide which homes they would like to visit in person according to the floor plans that best fit their preferences. In addition, being able to have a view of a 3D tour allows the buyer to feel more confident about making an offer or not. And as a result, narrows down the visitors to a more targeted group of potential buyers. 

 Zillow 3D Interactive Floor Plan

Recently, Zillow launched a new feature: the Zillow 3D Interactive Floor Plan. This new feature allows capturing all at once: the 3D home tour and interactive floor plan within the same visit as your professional photos. In this Interactive Floor Plan, each room in the floor plan is automatically connected with the photo and/or 3D view of that particular space. Therefore, it facilitates the viewer to grab a quicker look at the different spaces within a home directly from the floor plan. Whereas in a regular floor plan you only get a view of the home’s layout.
